Meet the team:
 

The Infrastructure Team is a global organization that supports all critical infrastructure and cloud services with a security and automation first mindset and practice. The team is involved in many projects to improve our capabilities and services offered to the entire company. We lead the way in setting the standards and best practices for running and maintaining such platforms.

Where you come in:

•  You have knowledge of design, deployment, and support of advanced virtualized infrastructures and multiple Operating Systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
• You possess expert knowledge of emerging server, cloud, and data center technologies and architectures.
• You are responsible for performing and overseeing preventive maintenance as the Engineering Supervisor, and you coach, manage development, and handle performance management of direct reports.
• You perform equipment and system upgrades, installations, and/or modifications while working with vendors, service providers, and customers regarding outages and problems.
• You have demonstrated experience in monitoring and proactively managing systems to ensure their performance, availability, security, and capacity.
• You can interpret, analyze, and apply pertinent service-level agreements, policies, procedures, regulations, and other requirements, turning them into actionable outcomes.
• You have experience architecting, implementing, and supporting on-premises workloads and IaaS cloud platforms.
• You possess exemplary communication skills, developing positive working relationships, building strong rapport with team members, and interacting effectively with a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders.
• You are proficient in Windows Servers, Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure, Azure AD, including DNS, Domain Controllers and Group Policy management, OKTA, Microsoft365 Applications, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, VMWare, and OneDrive.

What makes you successful:

• You are supervising our GBS Systems Engineering team, overseeing the implementation, support, and development of the systems.
• You take on a working supervisor role, performing hands-on tasks along with supervisor responsibilities such as conducting quarterly reviews, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, and providing second-level support to engineers.
• You manage small to medium-sized projects and act as a key stakeholder for larger initiatives.
• You are responsible for managing the Systems Services operational queues.
• You ensure appropriate escalation and timely response to priority incidents.
• You assist in the operational maintenance and support of network circuits, including performing disconnects or ordering circuits.
• You identify opportunities for and facilitate the implementation of network automation.
• Your responsibility includes ensuring Systems service team documentation is up to date, and you assist the team by coaching or documenting where needed.
• You ensure redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place, coaching the team when necessary.
• You perform any other duties as prioritized by the IT Infrastructure Engineering Manager.
• You oversee lifecycle and asset management.
• Your qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, related fields, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
