Required Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of Linux administration experience
- 5+ years of experience integrating federal government systems with Splunk
- 5+ years of experience simultaneously administering up to 5 complex systems
- 5+ years of experience managing Risk Management Framework-related activities
- Must be able to work 100% on-site

- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise cross domain operations, engineering, and/or software development projects/activities
- 2+ years of experience with National Cross Domain Strategy & Management Office (NCDSMO) Raise the Bar (RTB) compliance
Duties:
- Provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate 24/7 operations of critical ECDS infrastructure and services. Specifically, provide remote and on-site system analysis and engineering support services, as well as system administration and operational support to meet DIA mission. On-site operations and maintenance support extends to locations and/or sites where cross domain infrastructure is deployed and operationalized.
- Provide Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 support:
- Tier 2 support provides in-depth technical support, identifies and assesses issues, and provides solutions.
- Tier 3 support serves as a subject matter expert with a deep knowledge in a specific area and does not usually have a primary responsibility to perfo1m break/fix or O&M activities. Tier 3 attempts to duplicate problems and defines root causes using product designs, code, or specifications.
- Serve as a key technical interface with DIA operations teams to ensure consistent enterprise integration.
- Maintain and sustain cross domain capabilities to include interface services, dataflow management and orchestration policy enforcement, content inspection and sanitization, guard interfaces, platform administration, security, availability, monitoring and observability.
- Support ECDS onboarding activities for Business and Mission System/ Application owners requiring enterprise cross domain services.
- Support the deployment and patching of ECDS components necessary to harden cyber posture and reduce threat surface.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all ECDS supported technology platforms.
- Notify the Government Technical Point of Contact and Battle Captain of Outage & Service Degradation Events within 1 hour of identification or notification during duty hours and within 2 hours of Battle Captain notification during non-duty hours.
- Upon discovery/identification/notification of an outage & service degradation event:
- Open Service Central Incident (INC)
- Provide hourly updates to the GPM and team members ( e.g., ECDS Jabber Chat Room, etc.) until resolved.
- Add detailed notes to the INC prior to Resolution/Closure
- Provide summary resolution status (e.g., Jabber Group Chats, etc.) within 1 hour of resolution
- Update ECDS Outage Log by close of business, day of the event
- Submit After Action Report (AAR) by Close of Business (COB), day of event to the GPM, ECDS Email distro, CIO Battle Captain, and impacted Mission Programs
- Ensure a performance rating of Green or higher for the following Performance Requirements Summary Matrix (PRSM) items:
- PRSM 7.01: Continuous Monitoring – Enterprise Auditing
- PRSM 7.02: ECDS Availability Rate
- PRSM 7.03: Incident Mean Time To Recover (MTTR)
- PRSM 7.05: ECDS Patch Management Success Rate
- PRSM 7.10: Change Management Completion Rate
- PRSM 7.11: Continuous Monitoring
- PRSM 7.12: After Action Reporting
Deliverables:
- Maintain an ECDS Inventory List on the government Knowledge Management site to track GFE hardware and software with associated system names and IPs. The site shall be accessible at all times by the ECDS Program Management Office (PMO).
- Provide/conduct Daily Stand Up Meeting Brief/ Report. Also provide a Weekly Operations Brief/ Report to the PM/COR.
- Provide a Maintenance Plan that details what maintenance activities are to be conducted across each ECDS platform. The plan shall be submitted in accordance with CDRL A005 (Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Provide a Well-Defined Schedule detailing when maintenance activities are to be conducted across each ECDS platform.
- Maintain a Log of All Scheduled Maintenance Activities performed.
- Maintain an Outage & Service Degradation Log with the following information:
- Service Central Incident (INC) Number
- ECDS Platform (e.g., CDSSF, NiFi, etc.)
- Title
- Description/Summary
- Start Date/ Start Time
- End Date/ End Time
- Duration
- After Action Report
- Maintain Change & Configuration Management Log with the following information:
- Service Central Change (CHG) #
- Title
- Description/ Summary
- Start Date / Start Time
- End Date/ End Time
