The Role

At Kyndryl, as a System Administrator, you'll tackle intricate problems and anticipate potential future challenges across a wide array of platforms and services. You'll lead the charge on new technologies and modernization efforts, collaborating with some of our largest global clients.

There's no typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, given the unique nature of each project. You'll manage client systems data, delivering daily solutions and ensuring security compliance. You'll supervise a workload queue, directly working with technicians to prioritize tickets and deliver top-tier solutions to our clients.

Who You Are

Junior System Administrator Role

This role involves server administration, configuration, maintenance, problem resolution, and compliance process management in a multi-platform server infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, and AIX systems. Basic knowledge of these operating systems is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum one year of experience required.

• Server and network management (TCP/IP configuration)
• Kernel parameter adjustment
• Monitoring server and network performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Implementation and management of monitoring and configuration management tools
• Automation of administrative tasks through scripting (shell scripting, Python, etc.)
• Implementation and management of computer security policies
• Documentation of procedures and configurations
• Collaboration with technical teams to resolve incidents
• Project participation for updates
• User and permission management in operating systems
• Backup management
