Job Description
- As a System Engineer you are responsible for the analysis, optimization and development of storage/server, backup and virtualization environments.
- You are involved in the further development of our highly available data center landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes.
- You will also be involved in the following project topics: Data center migration, virtualization and automation.
- You provide 2nd and 3rd level support in the area of infrastructure for our existing customers and advise their departments on technical problems.
Qualifications
- You have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics
- You already have professional experience as a system engineer and knowledge in the following topics: Virtualizations, Operating Systems and Microsoft Services
- It would be helpful if you already had knowledge or points of contact with the following products: VMware, DELL/EMC Server and Storage Systems, DELL/EMC Networker Backup Environment, DELL/EMC Data Domain, Veeam B&R or similar Vendors
- Your mindset is solution/process-oriented and analytical, and you have strong methodological skills
- You are fluent in German (min. B2) and English (B2).
