Equifax Workforce Solutions (“EWS”) seeks a Senior Vice President of Technology to join our Technology leadership team. As the leader of a group of Engineering Managers, you will drive the creation and development of new products and roadmaps, while providing technical thought leadership. You will bridge the gap between ideation and execution, championing innovative technologies and fostering cross-business collaboration. Additionally, you will establish a formal product catalog and contribute to a global catalog, promoting service reusability and accelerating delivery. You will also play a key role in driving feature rationalization across M&A platforms and oversee product platform migration activities. 

You will collaborate with peers to drive and define product strategy, in close partnership with business partners and engineering leaders. You will co-own product decision and prioritization, balancing near-term deliverables with longer-term technology investments. Additionally, you will work with corporate development to evaluate M&A opportunities, ensuring alignment with Equifax's product strategy and developing integration plans within the technology stack. 

You will proactively assess risks, anticipate and address bottlenecks, and manage critical issues, making strategic trade-offs to balance business needs with constraints. What you’ll do:

  • Possess an in depth understanding of the EWS markets and our competition

  • Build and lead a high-performing team to support Employer Services' multiple product lines.

  • Collaborate across functions (engineering, digital and marketing, data & analytics, legal, UX, etc.) on cutting-edge technologies.

  • Develop innovative solutions through cross-business unit and partner collaboration.

  • Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, manage critical issues, and balance business needs with technical constraints.

  • Engage with executive leadership, engineering, product management, and global partners to define, prioritize, and deliver complex Employer Services products.

  • Take ownership of product commitments and business results.

  • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate risks at all levels, optimizing resources for customer benefit.

  • Foster strong partnerships and effective communication to ensure collaboration and commitment across diverse teams with varying priorities.

  • Proactively identify and address strategic challenges that could hinder the team's ability to achieve its strategic, financial, and technical objectives.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in sales, digital and marketing, and executive teams to define and develop product strategies that drive innovation and go-to-market effectiveness.

  • Spearhead cross-functional development efforts for new technologies, overseeing the entire lifecycle from design to delivery.

  • Maintain open communication with senior management, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and change control.

  • Craft a long-term product strategy and roadmap, outlining specific features and their development trajectory.

  • Foster an environment that focuses on continuous improvement, operational excellence and challenging the status quo.

  • Skillfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to evolving priorities and ensuring successful execution.

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing strategic initiatives and priorities.

  • Clearly communicate strategies and trade-offs to senior leadership and product management teams, ensuring alignment and understanding.

  • Ensure exceptional performance across all technology operations, encompassing security and compliance, system reliability, DevOps practices, automation, and efficient execution. 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a vast technological understanding. 

  • Experience building and leading technical resources. You should have a desire to improve and grow your team to serve the needs of a transforming engineering organization

  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Customer Support, Finance, D&A or Marketing.

  • 15+ years managing cross-functional technology products, projects or programs.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders even without direct reporting relationships.

  • Experience in technology roles, potentially including consulting, with a keen business sense.

  • Technical fluency and comfort discussing complex technology concepts, evaluating trade-offs, and exploring new opportunities with technical team members, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the technology stack.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively represent Equifax to both clients and the market.

  • Ability to implement ideas and plans effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, including precise and effective interpersonal communication, active listening, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

  • Comfortable and composed when presenting to executive audiences and leading large, diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Strong history of teamwork and a willingness to take on any task to achieve success.
