JOB PURPOSE
Surf is the leading laundry masterbrand in the Philippines, split between fabric cleaners and fabric enhancers.
The Surf Fabclean Business Performance Manager oversees the total fabric cleaning business of the Surf, accounting for 80% of the total business, including Surf CPGs: powders, liquids and bars. The role will report to the Surf Masterbrand Business Performance Manager.
They will have end-to-end responsibility on the fabclean home care business including Business Management (P&L Management), Category Strategy, and Brand Marketing Plan, working with internal cross-functional teams as well as external agencies.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Business Management

Responsible for the health, performance, and end-to-end P&L management of HC Surf Fabclean, including topline sales delivery, gross margin improvement projects, and brand & marketing investments management to deliver bottom line profits. Monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6P’s). Recommends solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets.

Leads weekly project task force meetings, both to internal and external stakeholders, to monitor brand operations, ensuring agreed deployment plans are progressing as planned OTIF.

Lead their part of the business in the monthly S&OP cycles (Activity & Demand Review, Local Sales & Operations Meeting) including sales analysis and spotting of issues and opportunities.

Leads opportunity spotting, as well as creation and progress of projects that fall within NRM, PPA.

Lead their part of the business in the annual One Plan Brand Audits.
Category Strategy

Support the CSP team with the Surf Fabclean Category Strategy, localizing the Category Growth Story, valuating the Category Growth Drivers, and coming up with the 8-Quarter Plan, with corresponding trade support.

Leads a multifunctional team to implement the plan in the market place and monitors performance of the support plans.
Brand Marketing Plan (Focus on Deploy, Opportunity for Design)

Spearheads the creation and development of the Surf Fabclean Brand Marketing Plans, in alignment with GAP framework and MYIPs.

New Brand/Format Launches/Extensions (as necessary)

Variant/Pack Innovation/ Renovation within existing portfolio

Campaign development and deployment including but not limited to traditional media, digital, social and below the line executions.

Responsible for legal and regulatory compliance in accordance to ASC, FDA, DTI etc.

Leads OTIF PLE review of launched projects, with a point of view on course corrective actions or step up plans.
