Support Services Operations Analyst (Investment Services, Wealth Services and Operational Services)

Qualified candidate must be local to either the Brooklyn, OH (Tiedeman) or Amherst, NY (Ridge Lee) offices and will report to the office as needed, based on assignment. No out of state travel required; must be local to one of the two cities listed.
The Support Services Operations Analyst assists Investment Services, Wealth Services and Operational Services with short and long-term assignments during high volume and staff shortages. The Operations Analyst assists in special projects, desk coverage and workflow processes, including review of desktop procedures. Additionally, the Operations Analyst analyzes and recommends solutions, working with managers to evaluate and implement. Assignments or projects could involve direct contact with management, and Lines of Business.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in covering open roles due to absence in operationally high risk areas, and/or consult on high-impact projects and initiatives across Wealth, Investment, & Operational Services.
- Manage assignments and time efficiently, meet strict deadlines, learn new tasks in a short period of time.
- Communicate well with management and others in the assigned department.
- Be professional, maintain a positive attitude, always maintain confidentiality.
- Identify problems, offer process improvement solutions and document such solutions.
- Work directly with outside manager on assignment and quickly become part of the team while reporting to own manager and remaining member of own team.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and risk guidelines.
- Provides subject matter expertise in multiple areas within Operations.
- Consult, recommend, and assist with process improvements and procedure enhancements.
- Assist in training new staff members on specific functions learned while on the assignment.
- Take on assignments of a complex nature and make sound decisions with limited direction.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Operations or proven ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Exceptional time management with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Foster teamwork and build successful working relationships with partners.
- Accountability, Integrity, Professionalism.
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality focused. Self-motivated and willingness to help others.
- Ability to multi-task, change direction quickly and take on very difficult assignments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in multiple operational departments
Technical Skills:
Strong PC skills (including Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
