Job Responsibilities:
Duties:

• Communicates key project expectations to applicable suppliers and internal auditors
• Develops and Monitors supplier's micro plans
• Prepares written reports on all supplier assessment results and follows up on actions and responses
• Develops suppliers to AIAG standards to ensure continuous on time supply of superior quality components
• Schedules and supports MQR meetings with poor performance suppliers
• Schedules and performs launch reviews on new projects with key product suppliers at supplier locations, including but not limited to PSO (Product Sign off Sheets) and run-at-rate.
• Tracks supplier incoming product quality as quality operating systems measurable
• Develops, manages, and supports all supplier rating system deliverables including continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years automotive Quality Engineering experience
• Must be an assertive team player
• In depth knowledge of quality systems, IATF 16949 Auditor an asset
• Blue print reading and GDT knowledge
• Excellent communication, presentation data analysis, evaluation and follow through skills
• ASQ Quality Engineer certification or equivalent scope in experience
• Must be willing to travel North America and abroad (maintain an active passport)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Responds appropriately to crisis situations
• Working knowledge of control plans, IATF 16949:2016 PFMEA's (Process Failure Modes Effect Analysis) Eight-Dimensional (8D) problem solving
