A Day in the LifeAs the Supply Chain Solutions Architect – Global Operations & Supply Chain (GO&SC) Data, you will lead, design, and drive critical business data solutions and programs that deliver measurable gains in accuracy, speed, effectiveness, and cost of operations. The Solutions Architect is a leadership role with responsibility for Solution Design that includes hands on Project Management execution and leadership for key GO&SC Data programs that significantly advance the day-to-day transactions, intelligence, and decisions taken across the data ecosystem. In leading key GO&SC Data Solution Designs, you will effectively architect, communicate, and lead data solutions required for key programs. As a hands-on leader of programs the Solutions Architect’s responsibilities will be focused on the most critical programs requiring design, communication, and implementation of operational plans for completing a project as well as extreme ownership during the full life cycle of a project from Idea through Pre-Study, Development, Pilot, & Roll-Out.

A key success factor for the Supply Chain Solutions Architect will be to cross functional boundaries and partner with project stakeholders, resource leaders, and fellow technical experts to drive the delivery of expected benefits of key programs to provide value to the business. The domains of the Data being analyzed will include areas throughout Global Operations & Supply Chain including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Shop Floor, Manufacturing, Digital Transformation, Quality Inspection, Outbound Logistics, Inbound Logistics, Warehouse Management, Order Fulfillment, Backorder Management, and others.
As the Supply Chain Solutions Architect – GO&SC Data, you will be an individual contributor with significant responsibility to align resources, teams, and overall execution of your programs. Your goals will also include delighting our key customer base with a focus on delivering a best-in-class data experience across the global operations and supply chain. You will:
• Take ownership, lead, and deliver benefits of key Global Operations & Supply Chain Data programs and initiatives
• Develop, lead, and execute key Data Solution Designs for the Global Operations & Supply Chain Data Team
• Bring industry and supply chain expertise to help design, solve, and select effective solutions in seeking both short and long-term solutions to data challenges
• Champion the growth of knowledge and functionality surrounding Global Operations & Supply Chain Data through clear and effective communications with leaders, internal business partners, and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with all functional areas to increase awareness of major initiatives and inclusion in the overall project prioritization process
• Develop full-scale project plans containing milestones and project tasks with the necessary resource requirements
• Create and coordinate project teams and monitor their resource allocation within GO&SC
• Report progress and KPIs while escalating risks and issues for resolution
• Grow and develop a knowledge base and experience in key business processes within Global Operations & Supply Chain Data
Qualifications - External

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and Business Data Management domain experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
• Domain expertise in multiple functional areas of Global Operations & Supply Chain plus broader practical experience across with Enterprise Data systems and management
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to refine information and translate it into effective communication at multiple levels
• Demonstrated expertise supporting an Enterprise Data Management function that enabled tangible business outcome realization through leveraging data as a competitive asset.
• Experience in product manufacturing-based industry.
• Expertise in solutions design and architecture to see longer term and bigger picture solutions that are scalable, simple, and effective to drive our digital transformation
• Proficiency with multiple levels of enterprise applications supporting supply chain, including ERP, Advanced Planning, PLM/Data Governance, Data Visualization/Business Intelligence, Shop Floor, Warehouse Management, Regulatory/Trade, and others
• Experience in a large-scale, highly matrixed, global environment with multiple operating units managing both centrally to aligned common standards and locally when needed.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
- Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers.
- Plans and analyzes activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT CAREER STREAM: Program Managers and Directors focus on tactical, operational activities for a major program with broad or ongoing impact. Levels within the program management career stream typically accomplish program objectives through matrixed employee teams and / or vendors who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to lead. The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing program/team performance, communicating project and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of program team members. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
