Supply Chain Solutions Analyst II, Continuous Improvement

The Supply Chain Solutions Analyst II, Continuous Improvement will develop, execute, monitor, and report the progress of continuous improvement projects within Supply Chain Planning. The SCS Analyst II will be responsible for developing and executing the entire project management spectrum from requirements gathering and planning through execution and signoff including communication and tracking. They will map processes, analyze workflows for standardization, automation and optimization opportunities, and analyze data, always seeking the most optimal solution. They will be the primary process engineers for Supply Chain Planning processes, improvement projects, and technologies.

Essential Functions

  • Analyzes relevant data and KPIs and builds business cases for improvement projects.
  • Utilizes time studies and other Six Sigma techniques to analyze processes and identifies improvement opportunities.
  • Develops process maps and other documents to illustrate current and future states of processes and train team members.
  • Develops Business Requirements and Product Requirements documents for Technology improvements.
  • Participates in design workshops aimed at brainstorming solutions.
  • Develops User Acceptance Test criteria and tests new functionality before it is deployed to production environments.
  • Facilitates User Acceptance testing by partnering with business stakeholders.
  • Develops decision support tools to facilitate quicker decision making and improve team member efficiency.
  • Prepares Standard Operating Procedures, Business Process documents and slide decks for training team members on Supply Chain tools and software.
  • Tracks status of projects on Project Management platform and provides periodic updates to stakeholders.
  • Builds necessary metrics to track success of projects and automates them by partnering with the Business Intelligence team.
  • Advises Supply Chain leadership on methods and technologies that can support end to end optimization of the supply chain and sustain high performance.
  • Builds ad-hoc simulation models to evaluate the suitability of Supply Chain policies and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2 Years  – Supply Chain Planning, Engineering or similar
    • 2 Years  – Data Analysis, Data Presentation
    • 2 Years  – Operational Excellence or Business Transformation

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 4 Years – Supply Chain Planning, IT, Engineering or similar
    • 4 Years  – Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Presentation and/or Statistics
    • 2 Years  – Operational Excellence or Business Transformation
    • 4 Years  – Manufacturing Supply Chain Experience
    • 4 Years  – Supply Chain in a large, multiple data source environment

  • Working knowledge of enterprise Planning software such as JDA, Logility, o9, Kinaxis preferred.
  • Ability to model and Supply Chain problems using Excel and other systems, and recommend solutions
  • Hands-on experience of using SQL
  • Knowledge of Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI is a plus

Education

  • Minimum Required: 
    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or Business.
  • Preferred: 
    • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or Business.
