Job Description
General Summary:
The Supply Chain Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting raw material planning based on end-to-end manufacturing plans, purchase order and inventory management as well as MRP system management. The Supply chain Senior Specialist will participate in cross-functional working teams to gain insights needed to build out robust production plans for both pre and post-commercialized products, ensures purchase orders are executed in a timely manner, executes material shipping requests, releases batches in MRP and completes inventory reconciliations and physical counts, as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represents the Supply Chain planning team at working teams as a key support resource, able to act independently and execute planning activities
- Supports analysis of the Material Requirement Planning to help calculate raw materials needed to support both internal and external demands
- Independently manages CMO relationships, including Working Team Support, PO Generation / Invoice Reconciliation and Metric Reporting
- Communicates production plans to Contract Manufacturing Organizations, coordinates material deliveries to ensure production readiness, ensures Production Plans support Demand and Safety Stock requirements
- Works with the logistics team to ensure complex logistics issues are addressed
- Generates and monitors Supply Chain metrics
- Prepares order recommendations, executes inventory purchase orders and coordinates material deliveries
- Supports quality investigations through data analytics
- Works with various cross-functional groups (such as Quality, Tech Ops, Regulatory, suppliers, etc.) to proactively and collaboratively resolve issues that may block the timely flow of materials or projects; viewed as a key partner with the logistics organization
- Performs quarterly inventory reconciliations and participates with physical inventory counts
- Participates in the development and improvement of planning processes, standard work, and tools
- May train and coach new team members
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Experience with Rapid Response, Veeva and OPM or similar
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline
Typically requires 2 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
