Provide support to team members of the Supply and Production Planning Department with clerical tasks that support work order processing, inventory control, and raw material inward movement.
The main focus of this is to provide support to team members of the Supply and Production Planning Department with clerical tasks that support work order processing, inventory control, and raw material inward movement.
Key responsibilities include:

Assume responsibility for raising, processing and receipt of Purchase orders within the department

Generating and amending works orders
-
Checking Order Confirmations are correct and any discrepancies to be fixed/sorted out
-
Sending all Price Increases to Procurement department
-
Requesting CoA’s and CoO’s from suppliers
-
Raising Illumina PO’s
-
Chip Prices for Illumina
-
Data Entry of all incoming products or services relating to above purchase orders
-
Managing Group purchasing inboxes
-
Liaise with Logistics, Internal departments and planners concerning any queries on receipts of purchase orders
-
Tie up monthly statement for Credit Card Purchases
-
Chase up Internal Requisition system
-
Manage the process if New Supplier Forms information being collated from suppliers and internal departments
-
Logging observations and non Conformances in Q Pulse
-
Requesting Insurance and risk assessment documents and questionnaires from engineers/ visitors
-
Update data in Various reports and Systems as and when required
-
Check Open order report from Lansing
-
Updating sheets for shipping costs
-
Arranging Raw Material samples from suppliers for validation purposes
-
Arranging the collection of the waste store
-
Invoices Queries for all sites
-
Update planning sheets as instructed by planner
-
Perform as hoc duties as required
Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:
- Previous experience in an office business environment.
- Knowledge of MRP system, inventory control, and experience with excel and customer service is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Knowledge of MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
