As a Supplier Specialist you will be responsible for several Tier 2 supplier relationships and service contracts that provide support or services to our stores, distribution centres and home offices from either a hardware, software, SaaS agreements or license subscription services.
Ensuring contractual obligations are met through;
- Adherence and adoption of supplier governance framework
- SLA management - monitoring & performance
- Inventory management - accuracy & compliance
- Commercial control – Annual business planning and monthly forecasting of operating cost budgets contributing to £350m total spend.
- Identification of commercial opportunities to reduce (save money work smarter) or mitigate cost.
- Reporting - monitoring service of services & trending
- Contract life-cycle – road map of activities including new services and renewals ensuring compliance at all times.
- Relationship management – Effective relationships with wider technology stakeholders including service management, legal and procurement teams.
- Continual Service improvement- monitored and tracked.
- Contribute to supplier contract scope and negotiations to ensure the best outcome for Asda
- Risk Management – Ensure contractual risks that are identified and tracked.
- Experience and a good understanding and appreciation of technology and the applicable services.
