WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they understand and meet quality requirements
- Conduct supplier quality audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement
- Work with suppliers to develop quality improvement plans and monitor progress
- Analyze and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective action plans
- Ensure that suppliers comply with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and other quality requirements
- Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions and documentation
- Develop and implement receiving inspection plans for materials and products procured from suppliers
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or related field
- 4-8 years of experience in quality, manufacturing or process control (including 4+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering)
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- In-depth knowledge of inspection methods and testing procedures
- Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF, AS9100
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical parts and related manufacturing processes
- In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) based on ASME Y14.5 standards
- Fluent written and spoken English and Polish (required C1 or C2 level)
