Job Description:
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer into our Quality team in Tuusula.
What will be your main responsibilities?
- to work directly with our large supplier network to elevate their quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with the global medical device regulations and our expectations thereof
- to support Sourcing, Operations and R&D in supplier quality related topics
- to plan and conduct supplier audits and drive improvement projects based on the findings
- to drive and manage Supplier Corrective and Preventive (SCAR) actions to improve supplier manufacturing and quality control processes
- to monitor supplier quality and validity of supplier certificates
- to report supplier quality related KPIs

Job Requirements:
We expect you to
- challenge status quo and have a desire for continuous improvement
- have at the minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical area
- have previous experience in Quality Management System auditing – minimum ISO 9001, preferably ISO 13485
- have at the minimum 3 years of experience in management of supplier quality
- have experience with problem solving methods
- have experience on improving Quality Management Systems
- have good English speaking and writing skills + native in Finnish language
- be able to collaborate across organizational levels and functions. You drive agreed actions persistently to completion.
- establish sustainable relationships with key suppliers to enable fluent collaboration in problem solving projects
- liaise with suppliers to find solutions to systematic, repeating and critical quality issues.
The following are considered as an advantage:
- Master of Science degree
- knowledge on different manufacturing methods for electrical and mechanical parts
- previous experience in working in medical device business
- data analysis skills e.g. with Excel.
