Position SummaryThe person in this position oversees the; inspection, testing, dismantling, repair, movement, and order entry of returned gaming equipment in accordance within strict guidelines. Aids and trains line leads and personnel as needed. Required to oversee multiple lines and multiple functions in Used Asset Management. Required to identify and implement process improvements as part of the optimal and best practices Lean Manufacturing operating philosophy at Light and Wonder. Other duties may be assigned.Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the processing of equipment in accordance with the master schedule of items to be received and processed.
- Oversee the movement of equipment from the receiving and staging area to the Teardown processing area and then into inventory upon the completion of processing.
- Ensuring the accurate entry of information into the system at all stages of processing.
- Coordinate exceptions with Team members and Management to resolve in a timely manner.
- Handling goods and documents in a busy warehouse setting.
- Communicate efficiently with fellow workers, supervisors, and other members of the team.
- Assist in the interview and onboarding process of new hires and candidates.
- Assist with training new hires.
- Work responsibly and efficiently while adhering to all safety rules and policies as well as identify and immediately address safety concerns.
- Understand and carryout directions from immediate Supervisor and assist with directing workflow.
- Recommend operational changes to improve process efficiency.
- Inform/communicate with the immediate Supervisor of any direct labor shortages.
- Communicate Team attendance items with Management.
- Work responsibly and efficiently while adhering to all safety rules and policies.
- Comply with Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform all required functions in warehouse management system as trained.
- Use a desktop computer to complete necessary transactions.
- Communicate via company email, Teams, and Outlook.
- Interacts across business units including warehouse, production control, facilities, manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and security.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum of 1 year in a Lead role or equivalent.
- High school graduate or equivalent - must be able to verify.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, as required by law.
Preferred Traits, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience or willingness to learn to operate a forklift, hand, and electric pallet jacks.
- Experience with computers and RF scanners.
- Working knowledge of Oracle a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Office
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs continuously throughout a shift.
- Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time.
- Use of arms, hands, legs and back is required for repetitive motions of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.
Work Conditions:
- May require weekends and evening hours.
- May require assisting other departments.
