Supervisor of Coding Services - New Ortho Office - Latham - FT
St. Peter’s Health Partners is opening a new Orthopedics Office in Latham, NY.
Position Summary:
Responsible for scheduling work, training staff, auditing quality of staff work and day to day operations of work unit. Implements systems and processes within the department. Facilitates team development among staff. Recommends policy and procedure changes. Ensures consistent and accurate application of policies and procedures.
Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associated Degree in Health Information Technology or other related fields (preferred) and/or Data Quality.
RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS, CPC
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years staff and/or supervisory in appropriate area
Pay Range:$30.00 - 42.03
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
