KBR is looking for a Project Management Intern, this role is designed for students pursuing a degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting. As a Summer Intern in the Engineering Management department, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to projects that enhance our engineering processes and management practices. It may participate in the preparation of Engineering Proposals.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Engineering Management team in project planning and execution, including tracking progress and reporting on key metrics.
- Support the development and documentation of engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for ongoing projects.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Engage in hands-on tasks related to engineering projects, providing support where needed.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative on individual tasks.
- A keen interest in project engineering or engineering management and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
