Summer Internship: Biostatistics Intern (Remote)

Note: To be considered for our 2025 Summer Internship program you must be enrolled in a university degree program and cannot be graduating sooner than December 2025. 

Education Required: Current students pursuing master or PhD degrees in Biostatistics, Statistics Epidemiology or related fields

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship): BeiGene’s Statistics team is seeking highly motivated summer intern to work on a range of topics related to statistics in pharmaceutical drug development. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of applying statistical methodologies to solve real-world problems in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields, enhancing our capabilities in drug development and patient care. 

Essential Functions of the Internship:

The intern will do one or more of the following:

• Literature review
• Statistical or AI/ML model development
• Develop tool for model implementation
• Conduct simulations or exploratory analyses
• Work in a cross-functional environment

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

• No

Computer Skills:   R, and/or SAS. Python may be desired.

Other Qualifications:    

Familiarity with machine learning and real-world data (RWD).

Familiarity with survival analysis.

Familiarity with R Shiny tool development.

Travel:  <10%

Pay Range:

$38.50/hr (masters)

$40.50/hr (PhD)

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
