About the DDM Summer Internship Program:
The Dotdash Meredith Summer Internship Program is a 9-week full-time, paid program that runs from June 9th - August 8th, based out of our New York office. The intern program consists of hands-on learning opportunities to create work that has an impact on the business, along with workshops in preparing you for post-college life (resume/interviewing) plus fun events throughout the summer!

Eligibility Requirements:

Internships are available to students who will be Juniors and Seniors in Fall 2025 at an accredited college or university

You must be available to work full time for the entire 9 weeks of the program in the NY office, 3 days a week

You must have access to your own housing and transportation to/from the NY office
About the Team:
The Food Commerce News and Deals team at Dotdash Meredith comprises smart, sharp writers and editors covering timely, food-related shopping content for Food & Wine, Allrecipes, EatingWell, and Serious Eats. We are passionate about cooking, entertaining, and helping readers find deals on products chefs and home cooks use. We regularly collaborate with various teams including Growth, Editorial, Evergreen, and Research + Testing and utilize data to inform our pitches and coverage. Our content types include sale roundups, as well as one-offs on newly launched products, celebrity-approved items, first-person product reviews, and customer-loved pieces.
About the Role:
The TRX-Food Group intern will gain experience with affiliate content and learn digital media tools such as Airtable and Slack. This intern will also be able to see how different sides of our business (News & Deals, Evergreen, Research & Testing, etc) collaborate with each other.
Internship Responsibilities Will Include:

Cover timely, food-related shopping content, including sale roundups, and update product roundups and reviews for the commerce Food team

Participate in the product testing process

Help with administrative/quality tasks and projects as needed

Potential to participate in Travel + Leisure lab tests and contribute to buying guide updates on that brand as well
About You:
Candidates for this role should have or be:

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Interest in shopping, cooking, and lifestyle content with a baseline knowledge of the voices of Dotdash Meredith food brands

Open to new challenges and excited to grow within a fast-paced, expanding, and constantly evolving organization

Creative and a driven self-starter who can take direction and run with it, asking questions upfront to ensure you can complete the task successfully

Motivated problem solver who will proactively troubleshoot and create solutions

Experience with Google & Microsoft Suites.

Some experience with digital media is a plus but not required.
