Strategic Sales & Analytics Intern - LATAM

Work Period: Mid May through Mid August (12 weeks total) 

Location: Onsite 3 Days a Week Needham, MA. This position has no relocation or housing assistance.

Strategic Sales and Analytics drives a crucial component of SharkNinja’s unstoppable teams, the “Obsessed with Winning” mindset.  SS&A is simultaneously a market expert, and the link between local market sales teams and SharkNinja global headquarters.  At SharkNinja, we chart a course, learn and pivot across 30+ different categories – our team drives assortment and pricing decisions, weekly sales analysis and CAPs and develops business cases on behalf of the LATAM markets to be sure we are equipped to drive extraordinary market growth.  We are looking for an ambitious, curious and rarely satisfied self-starter in this role, who is willing to learn through progress over perfection.  At SharkNinja, we believe extraordinary thinking is our competitive advantage – we embrace that winning is a team sport; we work together and challenge one another to deliver 5-star products.  This position will report to the Director of SS&A LATAM, support both the Shark and Ninja product portfolios and every country in LATAM with a focus on Mexico and Brazil.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop a deep understanding of the SharkNinja product portfolio
  2. Understand the weekly sales opportunities and “Smoke” in every key region
  3. Collaborate with the sales teams and brand managers to prepare for customer meetings
  4. Support channel management for MX sales team
  5. Understand competitive assortments and how SharkNinja can optimize their strategy to win
  6. Create/Aggregate sell-in material on NPD for internal sales
  7. Track changes to NPD mass production timelines, relay impact to local teams and develop mitigation plans
  8. Support NPD kickoff process led by Geo-expansion team
  9. Operate as an “Americas” team w/ US and CA counterparts to magnify impact

Expectations

  1. Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, familiarity with Latin America
  2. 3 days/wk in-office (based in Needham, MA)
  3. Proficient in .ppt, excel, Microsoft office (added benefit if familiar with PowerBi / DOMO)
  4. Embraces professionalism and treats everyone with respect
  5. Curious, self-starter, isn’t afraid to ask questions and offer new points of view
