Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Subject Matter Expert - General Ledger
Poznań, Poland
Your responsibilities:
- Identify areas within the General Ledger (GL) processes that require enhancements.
- Develop and prepare metrics and reports to track performance.
- Support the GL team in resolving complex issues.
- Conduct training sessions for the Finance team.
- Participate in system testing for new implementations and upgrades.
- Provide day-to-day support to team members and assist the manager.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the GL function.
- Look for automation possibilities within GL processes.
Our requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance (AP, AR or GL).
- University degree in Finance/Accounting or similar.
- Practical knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills (eg. Macros, Pivot tables, SAP Scripts).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of MS Power Apps (Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).
- Other European language skills.
