As an Analytics Solutions Sr. Associate on the Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for applying analytical thinking and strategic skills to a broad range of challenges faced by the enterprise. You will analyze and exhibit domain expertise in data modeling, report development, data integration/injection/transformation, and business Intelligence industry best practices.
The Data Strategy & Analytics Solutionsteam is responsible for global oversight and governance of the Digital Channel Suite of Products to uphold the highest standards safeguarding the Channels while supporting Clients' cash management needs. As guardians of the Channel, the team is a central point of contact for Technology Investment planning, Data& Analytics, Platform Stability, Risk, Audit & Controls, and Channel Pricing and Billing. Key drivers to success are the effective management of technology investments, disciplines and controls used for business readiness, process and procedures, and change management plans for Release and Client Event Management. This includes creation of business plans, action plans, contributing to internal and external communication strategies and content.
Job responsibilities
- Analyze large data sets using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and/or Spar
- Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
- Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.
- Build and prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insights at scale.
- Extract and understand data to form an opinion on how to best help our clients and derive relevant insights.
- Resolve issues and remove barriers that hinder analytics initiatives.
- Utilize predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, data insights, and other business outcomes.
- Create metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of investments in new products or enhancements of existing products.
- Deliver tactical and strategic product and market insights through analytics, reporting and state of the art visualization techniques..
- Organize and manage multiple projects with diverse cross-functional stakeholders at once.
- Communicate data-driven insights and conveying actionable recommendations.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 4+ years of work experience in analytics
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with advance SQL concepts to construct data queries and analyze risk strategy and collections impacts. Proficiency with common data science tools like Python to rapidly address and solve business problems
- Experience developing ML solutions in a public/private cloud such AWS, Snowflake.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with one or more major data visualization tools including Tableau/QuickSense/Alteryx
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
- Experience across the full range of database and business intelligence tools. Publishing and presenting information in an engaging way.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Science Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Consulting experience
- Exposure to financial services, credit cards, or merchant analytics
