Candidate Profile
We are looking for a driven and resourceful individual who embodies operational excellence and thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate:

  • Acts as an effective partner to the EVP of Commercial Strategy, proactively identifying and addressing needs before they become challenges.
  • Manages time and priorities effectively, demonstrating agility and comfort in shifting gears as situations evolve.
  • Excels at building and maintaining relationships with Regional Finance teams, Client Finance, New Business Development, Project Management, Account teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Is highly detail-oriented, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Embraces versatility, willing to take on varied responsibilities and contribute wherever needed to support the team's success.
  • Demonstrates creativity and resourcefulness in solving complex problems, leveraging existing organizational resources effectively.
  • Possesses strong common sense and operational acumen, understanding what it takes to "keep the trains running on time."
  • Takes pride in delivering high-quality work, viewing it as a reflection of personal and professional standards.

Responsibilities
This role encompasses a range of responsibilities within Commercial Strategy, with significant opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on operational and strategic support to the EVP of Commercial Strategy and the broader team.
  • Analyzing data to identify gaps, assess risks, and uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Supporting pricing strategies and negotiation recommendations for new and existing client opportunities, both locally and globally.
  • Collaborating with multiple business units within Weber Shandwick to foster alignment and drive success.
  • Gaining deep knowledge of the business and leveraging that understanding to enhance the value delivered to clients.
  • Supports the review and preparation of RFIs and RFPs at local and global levels as needed.

NYC Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
