Job Description

This position is only open to candidates currently pursuing their associates degree from a community college or trade school. Those currently pursuing their bachelors degree or higher will not be considered for this role.

Early Career Apprentice Program

Want to work in your field and train on the job? Join our 12–24-month apprentice program! You will earn and learn on the job, receive career guidance and mentorship, all while attending school. Allstate will also provide tuition assistance and hands-on training in strategy and operations.
 

Law & Regulation – Strategy & Operations Analyst Apprentice

Your role as a Strategy & Operations Analyst will expose you to business-critical projects that enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making within Allstate’s Law & Regulation department. Through hands-on work, you will gain valuable experience in project management, risk assessment, and business process improvement. Job Qualifications

Education:

• Pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or other relevant fields preferred.
• Candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills are encouraged to apply.

Work Authorization:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Core Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities—ability to assess risks, identify efficiencies, and drive process improvements.
• Organizational and time management skills—capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills—ability to coordinate across teams and provide clear project updates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools.
• Self-starter—someone who takes initiative, collaborates effectively, and proactively identifies solutions.
   

Strategy & Operations Analyst Apprentice Responsibilities:

As a Strategy & Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting business initiatives and operational improvements within Allstate’s Law & Regulation department. You’ll:

• Assess and report the health of projects and programs, ensuring transparency and accurate status updates.
• Engage with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide oversight and direction throughout the project lifecycle to meet business requirements.
• Coordinate, document, and communicate project plans and requirements.
• Act as an internal advocate for projects, driving engagement and alignment with business objectives.
• Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate project risks or issues as needed.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and drive business success.
