THG Studios is the creative powerhouse within THG Ingenuity. With 200 creatives delivering world-class campaigns for brands such as Disney, Campari, MyProtein, Lookfantastic.com, ASDA, Gillette, Nestle, Illamasqua, Coggles and ESPA - we are Europe’s biggest and most impressive creative studio. Spanning across 11.5 acres in the creative heart of the North Manchester, we are home to 15 specially designed studio spaces, dedicated to video, photography, interiors, social, campaign and even boasting a state-of-the-art food & drink content production facility. About Strategy
Our strategy department tackles a vast range of briefs spanning from brand strategy and architecture to creative campaign development to defining social and content strategies. Working cross vertical, and brands from global names like Disney and ASDA to exciting startups like Myrkl and Codex Beauty. But we are never siloed, we enjoy working closely with our colleagues from new business to client services to creative to production. Fast paced and fun it is a unique and exciting.
Role Requirements
Role Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and oversee the strategic direction for clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
- Strategic Execution: Able to define and execute key strategic projects including brand strategy, creative strategy, social strategy and content strategy.
- Client Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to clients, translating their objectives into actionable plans and identifying how we can support them solve their most pressing challenges
- Insights and Research: Deliver consumer, cultural, market, and competitive research to inform data-driven strategies and recommendations.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner with creative teams to ensure strategies inspire impactful ideas and executions that fit within the production constraints
- New Business Development: Contribute to new business pitches, develop proposals and identify opportunities to expand client partnerships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with account, creative, social and production teams to ensure cohesive execution of strategies.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the agency in industry forums and promote strategic excellence internally and externally.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
- Natural problem solver and able to view problems from several angles.
- Proven experience in a senior strategic role within an advertising, marketing, or communications agency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of branding, consumer behaviour, and digital marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Confident leader able to express their point of view articulately.
