Job Description

Strategy and M&A Manager F/M/X

(CDI)


As we are growing rapidly, we are looking for a unique person ready to make a difference and join our Strategy and M&A team as Strategy and M&A Manager F/M/X, based in Lyon (7e).

The Strategy and M&A Manager will participate in creating the company’s strategies, as well as defining & executing Nemera M&A activities.

This position reports to the Strategy and M&A Leader.

Job description

Participate to the definition of the company’s strategies :

  • You will participate in defining and implementing Nemera’s strategy by performing market analysis, competitive landscape mapping, strategic positioning, and defining related strategic initiative.
  • You will perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve high-priority, strategic issues (such as “where to play”, “how to win”).
  • You will track the Nemera Top Company goals, and support Functions to define their respective strategy.
  • You will perform in depth ad-hoc analysis (financial modelling, prospective business plans consolidations, etc).
  • You will prepare supports to be presented to the Nemera Leadership Team and to the Board.

Participate to M&A activities:

You will participate in the M&A activities of Nemera, including :

  • Target screening activities: participate to the identification of M&A targets aligned with Nemera’s overall strategy
  • Pre deal activities: participate in managing Due diligence experts and/or performing selected due diligence, assisting with synergy reviews, assist the preparation of “day-one” and post merger integration plan
  • Post deal activities: participate following up the implementation of the post merger integration plan

Qualifications

So, what are we looking for?


Master’s degree in Business / Management / Economics or Pharma/ biotech/Engineering or another relevant discipline graduated from a Business School.

Solid experience (ideally 5 years) in either a strategy consulting firm or the strategy department of a healthcare company.

Strong experience in commercial due diligence and/or client-based corporate strategy projects.

Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel)

Nice to have:

Knowledgeable in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, post-merger integration

Knowledge of the pharma industry, medical device industry and/or the drug delivery device industry

You have excellent analytical skills and you are recognized as a strategic thinker.

You are result oriented and you are comfortable with conducting both primary (interviews, surveys) and secondary (desk-based) market research.

You are also known as a collaborative team player, able to produce high-quality deliverables and also collaborate within your team as well as with a broader organization.

Great communication abilities. You know how to build trust & actively support the achievement of common goals across teams demonstrating leadership, analytical skills and ability to multitask.


Languages:

Fluent in English (as it is our company language), and French.
