As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you’ll own the logistics services category at both local and cluster levels, with an initial focus on France, Belgium, and the Netherlands—while keeping the door open for broader impact.

In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies that drive long-term competitive advantage, optimize costs, and ensure top-tier service quality. You’ll build strong supplier relationships, foster operational excellence, and lead standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across regions and segments.

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience, ideally in logistics procurement within FMCG, but we also welcome relevant experience from other industries.

  • You are a strong negotiator, confident in managing contracts, engaging with suppliers, and influencing stakeholders across the business.

  • You bring expertise in logistics, procurement, or both, with a willingness to grow in either area.

  • You take a commercial approach to logistics, ensuring sourcing strategies drive value and efficiency.

  • You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders, building trust and credibility through collaboration.

  • You are proactive and self-driven, thriving in both independent and team environments.

  • You think creatively and adapt to challenges, balancing structured negotiation with flexible problem-solving.

  • Fluency in both French & English is mandatory

What will be your key responsibilities?

Strategy Development & Execution

  • Design and implement sourcing strategies for logistics services, leveraging Mars’ frameworks and tools.

  • Actively contribute to the Regional Category Team, driving best practices and continuous improvement.

Contract Management

  • Lead contract negotiations and implement local and regional agreements, ensuring optimal pricing, volume rebates, capacity, and service levels.

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.

Sourcing Expertise

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing approaches, including negotiation, e-procurement, and tenders/RFPs, to optimize costs and service quality.

  • Build deep category expertise, providing market and financial insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with global and regional sourcing strategies.

  • Influence cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving business impact.
