Job Description
The Global Segment Marketing team is chartered to drive customer intelligence into actionable insights, helping increase wallet and mindshare across all markets served by Agilent. As a team, our mission is to lead the development of end-market strategies and the execution of cross-functional market initiatives with the goal of penetrating existing and emerging markets, maximizing market share, revenue, and growth.
The Strategic Program Manager will lead a cross-organizational team to develop and execute the commercialization strategy to accelerate the penetration of new high-growth opportunities, starting with PFAS across all end-markets. This will be accomplished through driving the characterization of new opportunities along with Global Segment Managers, delivering the business case to senior leaders to justify investment, establishing program goals and metrics, working with marketing to define the “Go to Market” plan, developing and executing sales tools and training with the commercial & sales teams, and collaborating with key stakeholders to execute the program globally. The role will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting program results to the executive team on a frequent basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Establishing the core team composition, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for workflow development & program management.

Leading the commercial process from research to execution.

Interfacing with Segment Marketing, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, and Product lines to obtain, synthesize, and share actionable market, regulation, and competitor insights.

Developing the business case to justify program investment.

Working with key stakeholders to characterize opportunities and set program goals.

Collaborating with marketing to drive strategy and tactic development.

Coordinating the development of commercial strategy for the program.

Monitoring and reporting on program execution and key performance indicators.

Communicating program achievements and updates internally.

Defining and supporting the development and launch of workflow solutions relevant to the opportunity.

Establishing, monitoring, and reporting on program execution and key performance indicators to executive sponsors and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications
-
University Degree in a related field of science or project management.
-
8+ years of combined experience in project management and the analytical instrument/life sciences industry required.

4+ years experience in program or project management
-
Demonstrable History and experience managing cross-functional teams and projects with influence.

Knowledge of market segmentation, SAM, TAM, and business opportunity/model development.
Nice to Haves:
-
Experience in a business development role, formulating new product investments, market analysis, and/or new market penetration strategies
-
Understanding of customer needs/insights in PFAS and/or applied markets.

Experience in sales and/or marketing.
-
Proficiency in using Excel and AI-based market sensing tools.
Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $130,240.00 - $217,745.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
