The Role 
As a Strategic Growth Intern, you will be responsible for taking ownership and accountability for a variety of key organizational projects at Belong Health. You will work closely with the business development growth team, while also gaining exposure to top executives at our fast-paced organization. You will provide ongoing support around prospect and partner meetings as well as business development processes and collateral.  

Responsibilities 

  • Support senior leadership on various strategic projects 
  • Develop market research on geographies where Belong Health is considering market entry, including market incumbents, future partner needs assessment against Belong Health solutions & capabilities, provider practice landscape 
  • Develop a sophisticated understanding of government health plan offerings/complex plans that Belong Health does not currently offer and recommend new future growth channels 
  • Research and Llaise with policy experts to identify opportunities for Belong Health to capitalize on new market entry opportunities based on regulatory changes in local markets 
  • Develop highly consultative collateral to convey complex ideas to partners and prospects around Medicare, D-SNP, and/or a Belong partnership 
  • Support revenue operations and processes such as pipeline prioritization, CRM implementation/ optimization, top of funnel initiatives

Requirements 

  • Currently enrolled in a top business school program for a master's degree or higher 
  • Passionate about healthcare and energized about serving complex-needs patients 
  • Experience working in healthcare, ideally with work history in consulting, finance, business development, product, operations, account management/customer successt, banking, and/or venture capital/private equity 
  • Self-directed and entrepreneurial; you take initiative and create your own momentum 
  • Highly analytical with strong quantitative skills and solutions-oriented 
  • High EQ; skilled collaborator and highly effective at relationship building 
  • Excited about working in an early-stage environment 
  • Bonus if you have experience in start-up environments
  • Bonus if you have experience with D-SNP or specific state Medicaid agencies 

Salary Range

$45 - $65 hourly
