Key Responsibilities

  • Driving new sales & expansion into the Recurly install base
  • Understanding how to expand into new lines of business by bringing the Recurly suite of solutions including Revenue Recognition, Lifecycle Management Engagement, App Management and future Recurly offerings
  • Prospecting within the customer base to identify and execute on opportunities to expand the Recurly footprint
  • Achieving and exceeding compensation plan goals by managing all aspects of the contract renewal for an assigned set of merchants
  • Engaging with customers to facilitate and persuade plan upgrades and feature upsells
  • Honing your sales and account management skills by positioning and communicating the Recurly value prop to our existing merchants
  • Identifying at risk merchants early in the renewal process and reselling the value of Recurly
  • Leading pricing strategy and negotiations while working closely with Sales Operations, Customer Success, Finance, Product, Professional Services and Legal to ensure all deals meet customer and Recurly requirements
  • Handling customer needs and requests outside of the responsibility of support for merchants not managed by Recurly Customer Success
  • Creating and managing expansion, upsell, renewal and professional services opportunities in SFDC CRM with accurate and timely forecast updates
  • Provide renewal notification and accurate quotes 120 days in advance prior to contract end date

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in renewals, sales, account management, customer success or equivalent customer facing role
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills with 
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and fast paced environment with a positive outlook and professional 
  • Experience with SFDC or similar CRM system preferred
  • Team player who enjoys jumping in where needed with high energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity to learn
  • Someone who will own the outcome by being mindful about finding the balance between the customer centric approach and achieving your renewal and sales goals
