OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Storeperson on a 12 month fixed term bases, to provide key support to the Supply Chain functions in regard to warehousing and logistics for the Irish SAR contract working with the global supply chain team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Distribution Tasks
- Manage and co-ordinate the movement of all inbound and outbound freight by air, road and sea in support of Ireland business operation with the Global Logistics team
- Assist to Maintain accurate records for all import and export activities, including intra EU and domestic movements
- Contribute and provide continuing improvement to the current business model whilst reducing waste where incurred
- Working with the Export Compliance Manager and Logistics Manager to maintain awareness in regulatory activities and create and adhere to internal processes and procedures to reduce business exposure to those regulations.
- Issue of packing and shipping invoice in Bristow ERP
- Issue of Bristow shipping docs,
- Issue courier AWBs through our system
- Input Bristow import shipments into the ERP
Warehouse Tasks
- Responsible for all aspects of ensuring that aircraft parts are stored, picked and shipped in an accurate and timely manner, including segregation of serviceable and unserviceable components.
- Despatch, receipt of deliveries, driving and general warehouse tasks that may be asked of.
- Store incoming parts
- Check for outstanding customer demand
- Ensure stock area is kept clean, tidy and clearly identified to facilitate stock picking, checking, counting, packing.
- Ensure ERP system is updated with relevant information necessary for accurate stocks
- Issue parts
- Receive requests to action customer demand through ERP order or written communication
- Coordinate with maintenance for off coming unserviceable material
- Coordinate with Supply Chan the paperwork for Unserviceable material
- Perform daily Cycle Count Stock checks to maintain optimum inventory accuracy
- Perform weekly count/stock evaluation to determine physical and ERP system coincide within department/s
- Packing of Dangerous Goods products and creation of documentation prior to shipping by Air / Sea / Road transport
- Monitoring of ERP reports and proactive checks to minimise stocking errors or inaccuracies
- Quarantine of discrepant parts where necessary
- Monitoring of shelf-life expiry dates and action within agreed procedures
- Monitoring timeframe for movement of parts Serviceable & Returns
- Driving duties if required including forklift operations
- Assist in Warehouse activities as tasked /Accept deliveries /Unload goods
- Check delivered packages against delivery documentation
- Reject and redirect if delivery address or location is incorrect
- Using local driven system for tracking purposes of all shipments
- Load collection vehicles
- Support other bases as required
- Other tasks as required as requested
Qualifications
• Forklift licence – B1 Counterbalance (up to 5 tonnes)
• Dangerous Goods packing (air / sea / road) certificate
Experience
• Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred
• ERP experience, preferably SAP/Ramco
• Microsoft Office experience, particularly Word and Excel

• Ability to work in safe manner in adherence with company rules
• Customer focused for provision of excellent customer service
• Good communication skills with the ability to articulate and present information clearly
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work as part of a small team
• Approachable to both internal and external staff members
• Flexible to assist covering colleagues during absence

Bristow History
