Overview:
The Storage & Backup Lead will supervise the day-to-day operations of infrastructure teams within HLB operations. This role involves managing Business-As-Usual (BAU) matters, incidents, patching, and various projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of infrastructure teams, ensuring smooth functioning and resolving BAU issues promptly.

Manage incidents, coordinating necessary actions for timely resolutions.

Supervise and contribute to patching activities, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
-
Participate in and manage various projects, ensuring their successful execution.
-
Collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure to supervise overall operations, reporting directly to the Head of IT Operations.
-
Responsible for end-to-end oversight of activities related to databases, Wintel, Unix, and AS400 platforms.
-
Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and strive for their consistent fulfillment.
-
Drive projects to timely completion, maintaining a focus on meeting deadlines.

Proactively address and mitigate any potential audit-related issues to maintain compliance.
Requirements:

Proven experience in overseeing infrastructure teams and managing day-to-day operations.

Strong understanding and hands-on experience in DB, Wintel, Unix, Backup, Storage and AS400 platforms.

Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time.

Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle incidents and BAU issues efficiently.

Prior experience ensuring SLA compliance and managing audit-related concerns is preferred.

Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and interact with senior management.
