State Street Global Advisors (“SSGA”) manages and is a promoter of around 350 European funds in multiple domiciles (Luxembourg, UK, Ireland and France). The European Funds Management team is responsible for handling all processes related to the day to day running of the funds and fund governance, including cross border registrations, coordination of board meetings and offering documents (prospectus, KIIDs, KIDs) and oversight of core service providers. We also oversee the fund financial statement preparation process and audits thereof.

As an intern in the European Funds Management Team, you will work closely with the Product Managers and the Designated Person for Distribution as well as various internal and external stakeholders.  Your scope of responsibilities will be to contribute to fund product initiatives and processes and governance related tasks including completion of regulatory filings as well as fund documentation updates and changes to the product offerings. You will be required to assist the Product Managers on ad hoc initiatives as required.

You must be available to participate in the programme in person in Republic of Ireland, starting from day one and for its full duration, and you are required to work from the office 4 days a week.

What you will be responsible for:

As a part of the team, the European Funds Management Support – You will be responsible for:

  • Co-ordinate data input, oversee and complete annual regulatory filings of our EMEA funds, such as Sub-Fund Profiles, Fitness & Probity, Semi-annual risk reports, KIIDs and PRIIPS.

  • Provide Designated Person support as required for various oversight activities.

  • Oversee the monitoring of our closed funds to ensure timely revocations.

  • Ensure timely execution of all BAU processes with a focus on minimizing enterprise risk.

  • You will contribute to business initiatives as part of the wider European Funds Management team.

  • You will support the dedicated Product Managers with day-to-day tasks and projects related to SSGA Funds.

  • Willingness to learn, “can do” attitude and focus on efficiency.
