Role
The Staff Writer will be part of an editorial team comprising experienced journalists, financial analysts and lawyers. They will predominantly focus on writing press releases and company announcements with a strong emphasis on speed, accuracy and clarity. They will also be involved in aggregating third-party content, writing monthly digests and contributing to databases used to populate Reorg’s Credit Cloud tool.
The ideal candidate will have strong news sense and the ability to create compelling stories from complex information. Confidence in writing about business and finance is essential for the role. Experience writing about high-yield bonds, leveraged loans or the credit market is an advantage.
The staff writer will be an excellent communicator, with the drive to learn and adapt, capable of working with members of different teams and developing good relationships with external press and investor relations contacts.

Responsibilities
- Write breaking news stories based on company announcements and third-party content;
- Contribute to ongoing project databases;
- Monitor domestic and foreign press for any key developments;
- Support a team of experienced journalists, financial analysts and lawyers.
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English. Additional European languages a plus;
- Excellent writing, time management and communication skills;
- Ability to manage and prioritize numerous projects simultaneously while working to tight deadlines;
- Strong news sense, with an interest in financial news and markets;
- Ability to begin work at 7 a.m. on rotation;
- Strong attention to detail.
