We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Developer with over 10 years of expertise in cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Community, Salesforce Messaging (in-app and web), AWS Connect integrations, and expertise with data streaming, data lakes, and integration tools. You will play a critical role in complex implementation projects, production support, and cloud-to-cloud integration, with a strong focus on security, scalability, and compliance.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage complex cloud computing projects, focusing on Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Community, Messaging (in-app and web), and AWS Connect integrations (IVA, chat, SMS).
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures, ensuring adherence to security protocols and change management policies.
- Drive the integration of cloud-to-cloud applications and data lakes using tools such as BigQuery, Athena, and Mulesoft, ensuring seamless data flow and secure information exchange.
- Implement data streaming integrations leveraging modern tools and concepts like Apache Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, and AWS Kinesis.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for both engineers and business leaders.
- Act as a gatekeeper for security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud and application security.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and architects, providing hands-on technical leadership.
- Proactively anticipate and address potential technical and security issues before they become critical.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical and security design documentation.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Engage flexibly across a variety of topics, including those outside your immediate domain of expertise.
- Provide strong customer support, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on Salesforce and AWS technologies.
- Proven experience in Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Community, Salesforce Messaging (in-app and web), AWS Connect, IVA, chat, and SMS.
- Extensive background in cloud-to-cloud integration and data lakes (e.g., BigQuery, Athena) with a heavy emphasis on security.
- Familiarity with integration tools such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, or AWS Kinesis.
- Demonstrated experience with scalable, secure cloud architecture and production support.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interface with all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to VP-level executives.
- Strong problem-solving and proactive issue resolution skills.
- Passionate about continuous learning and emerging technologies, especially AI.
- Proven track record of taking initiative on certifications and self-learning.
- Ability to influence and improve change management processes.
- Highly collaborative, with a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Flexible and willing to engage with unfamiliar topics when needed.
- Strong customer support skills and experience managing complex technical solutions.
What we would like to see:

Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $230,000 - 260,000, plus equity and benefits.
