Founded in 1999, Dexcom, Inc. provides continuous glucose monitoring technology to help patients and their clinicians better manage diabetes. Since our inception, we have focused on better outcomes for patients, caregivers, and clinicians by delivering solutions for people with diabetes - while empowering our community to take control of diabetes.
As a member of the Technical Program Management team for Dexcom’s Data Platform, you will be part of a fast-paced environment with a front row seat in helping deliver programs with new and exciting features aimed at empowering people to take control of their health.
In this role, you will be managing frequent releases for multiple data platform components while working with a passionate cross-functional team within a highly regulated environment.
Where you come in:

You will be responsible for managing and driving end-to-end program management activities for complex software projects from concept to regulatory filing, and commercialization.

You will develop, track and report on project plans, detailed project schedules, critical path analysis, project and product risks, change control requests, and project deliverables to management and cross functional teams.

You will lead project and status meetings with internal cross-functional teams, executives and external partners with confidence and clear communication.

You will coordinate activities and tasks as well as resources across all departments including, software development and testing teams, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations while providing guidance to these groups on priorities and schedules.

You will be responsible for compliance to internal medical device design control and product development process as well as regulatory requirements for all aspects of the program.

You will positively motivate teams to ensure successful project completion.

You will drive progress as a leader/influencer and individual contributor to the program
What makes you successful:

You will have a strong technical background and experience in project management ideally in a regulated environment. Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.

You must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage a project with a detailed schedule, dependencies with other components or projects, establish priorities, work towards strict deadlines and be able to control several projects with various technologies and in various stages of development simultaneously.

You will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business information clearly and effectively through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations to senior management and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

You will have experience with Agile development methodologies and practices as well as the product development process.

You will possess knowledge and experience working with software development tools such as Jira that provide bug/issue tracking and project management functions and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Visio/Lucid Chart is required.

You will be strong initiative, self-driven to deliver results without daily supervision.

You must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.

You must have strong organizational skills, team building and team leadership skills.

You must have the ability to manage conflict professionally, strong “can do” attitude.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8- 12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
