The selected candidate shall be an effective communicator and problem solver who will develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The IBCS Software Staff SW Configuration Analyst directs the efforts of the Agile Software Development (ASD) Software Configuration Manager and maintains overall responsibility for supporting the Release Team Product Owner (USG).
As a result, this role will perform the following tasks and functions:
- Lead small group of software configuration analysts & coordinate tasking responsibilities with Release Product Owner
- Develop deep and enduring Customer relationships by working closely with customer representatives and counterparts to understand and execute needs (both internal and external)
- Understand team blockers and help resolve issues with supporting teams or customer counterparts.
- Review and update the internal SW CM documentation and processes to align with overarching program and customer goals and schedules.
- Coordinate and collaborate with IBCS Chief Architect, the Agile Software Development Chief Engineer & Release Team Product Owner to meet program goals.
- Develop, maintain, and control SW CM procedures and work instructions.
- Supports various program level boards/meetings including the IBCS control boards.
- Supports daily, weekly, and monthly internal meetings and reviews to assess organization progress against program goals and milestones.
- Collaborate with Software Development, Integration, and Test teams throughout the software development life cycle.
- Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors
- Support the Release Product Owner in development of delivery timelines, communication of timelines and support of software release activities amid ever changing customer requirements.
- Identify technical risks/opportunities and proactively developing plans to mitigate and release them.
Basic Requirements
At least 14 Years of experience with a bachelor's degree; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Experience in Agile Software Release & supporting multiple baselines.
Preferred:
Familiarity with IBCS design and verification processes including hardware and software development
Salary Range: $143,100.00 - $214,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
