Job Description SummaryAs a Staff Software Engineer, you will act as a technical lead and will drive the Design, development of clinical applications and features on Qt/QML, C++, embedded Linux for Anesthesia and Respiratory medical devices; design Software Platform components with scalable architecture; engage with internal SMEs (Subject Matter Expertise)/Architects and get things done with help of Scrum teams by defining the backlogs, assigning, regular support and review and finally through acceptance of deliverables.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
In this role you will-
- Design and development of medical application and end-end feature development, ensuring platforming and re-usability.
- Technical risk retirement and performance optimization on embedded platforms.
- Guide and drive the internal/external team members and facilitate on time and quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with scrum teams and ensure regular program planning and flow it down to PI - Program Increment and Sprint levels.
- Drive project planning, scope changes and other nonstandard events throughout the life of the project.
- Demonstrate superior knowledge of software development life cycles.
- Ensure that releases meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Work with fellow team members and provide subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after the project is deployed in production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Management.
- 10+ years of software development experience
Essential Skillsets (Must have) :
- Strong Hands on expertise in QT/QML, C++ on Linux OS (Operating system)
- Hands-on knowledge with Design patterns to draft scalable software design solutions.
- Exposure to cross-platform software and Agile Software development methodologies.
- Sound leadership and communication skills to enable working with team above & across.
Desired Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience in programming language-C & Embedded platforms.
- Knowledge on cross-platform software development is added advantage.
