The Transactions domain is responsible for the flows that process the financial transactions in response to authorizations on the platform.
What you'll do

Consistently leads their squad to good outcomes from a technical perspective, ensuring appropriate engineering decisions are made to factor in technical debt, systems design, stability/reliability, monitoring/observability, and business need.

Is regularly recognized in their team and collective for high technical impact contributions of the highest quality.

Works to enable groups of others to improve coding standards and awareness of best practices around non-functional requirements.

Demonstrates product-awareness. Offers valuable contributions to quarterly planning rituals, and works with the PM or team lead on setting the vision for a squad.

Proactively contributes to the betterment of other engineers in the company, through sponsoring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.

Repeatedly consulted for advice by engineers from different squads. Has the skills to competently work on complex and unknown problems under pressure.

Proactively stays up to date with technology trends in their area, and uses this knowledge to contribute thoughts on their squad’s strategy.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience with:
- Distributed architecture development
- Microservices development and patterns
- Clean Code / Clean Architecture
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Java Development (4+ years)
- Golang development (4+ years)
- RESTFul API development
- CI/CD
- AWS (SQS, SNS, DynamoDB), Certification is a plus
- Relational and Non-Relational Databases
