Development Team @ Tech9:

Your Primary Focus:

• Develop, implement, and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Angular.
• Build and maintain RESTful Web APIs with a solid understanding of integration best practices.
• Design and maintain database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and manage stored procedures.
• Work with Entity Framework Core for efficient ORM-based database operations.
• Develop and manage applications in Azure, including deployment and maintenance.
• Create and support SSRS and Crystal Reports.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure application quality and stability.
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
   

About You:

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in building from the ground up. You’ll have the autonomy to lead backend initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that make a real business impact.

• 10+ years: Proficiency in ASP.NET Framework with experience in building and maintaining applications.
• 10+ years: Strong experience in MS SQL Server database development and management.
• 7+ years: Familiarity with Entity Framework Core for ORM-based database operations.
• 6+ years: Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• 5+ years: Proficiency in ASP.NET Core for developing RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years: Experience with the Angular Framework for frontend development.
• 4+ years: Proven ability to write unit tests (using nUnit or similar frameworks).
• 3+ years: Basic knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and application deployment.
• 3+ years (Preferred): Understanding of Azure SQL Database and its features.
• 3+ years (Preferred): Familiarity with Angular CLI, Angular Material, and RxJS.

This is a remote position out of any of the following locales: Costa Rica, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, El Salvador, and Uruguay

Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our Staff Software Engineer positions. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like; we may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.

1. Screening interview on-demand HireVue (15-30 min - Online Assessment)
2. 10-minute Q&A with Recruiter 
3. 1st round technical interview with member of Engineering team (1 hour - Zoom)
4. 2nd round interview with Principal member of Engineering team(1 hour - Zoom)
5. Final Hiring Manager interview (30-minute - Zoom)
