Our Crew “Secure Money Movement” sits in the Customer Engagement and Digital Domain, and we’re responsible for designing and building intelligent solutions and features for NetBank and CommBank App. Our mission is to deliver best-in-class digital experiences for moving money, while safeguarding our customers from the ever-evolving landscape of fraud and scams.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Technical skills spanning the full stack, with an emphasis on the backend
  • Experience in solution design and architecture of enterprise web applications
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including partnering with business for requirements, designing solutions, development, deployment, and monitoring and support
  • An excellent understanding of microservice and distributed system design patterns
  • An excellent understanding of the underlying infrastructure and cloud services that host .NET applications
  • Built CI/CD pipelines with sufficient automated testing and governance to continuously deploy to production
  • Applied DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) capabilities to enhance software delivery
  • A proven track record being the leader of change, driving improvements at scale in both people and tech
  • A natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups including high level executives

Tech Skills:

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

  • Full Cycle engineering (design, build, run and manage)
  • Full Stack technologies - React JS, TypeScript, C# .NET Core / Web APIs
  • Testing Frameworks - React Testing Library, Selenium, mountebank, Pact, xUnit
  • DevOps & CI/CD pipelines - GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins
  • Monitoring & observability – OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS Cloudwatch
  • Cloud - AWS preferred
  • Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes
