As a Staff Engineer, you will work with various value stream leads and product owners to drive technical decisions and assess how our cutting-edge Microsoft Solutions will fit with the architecture of the crew and the bank. We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Have hands-on experience in Power Platform particularly Power Automate Desktop design and development

• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in programming languages (C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular).

• Can build custom connectors and APIs to extend Power Platform capabilities

• Are comfortable in developing Power Automate flows for process automation, integrations, and notifications.

• Have worked with UI automation, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for advanced automation scenarios

• Hands-on experience of integrating Power Automate Desktop bots with Power Automate cloud flows, APIs, and enterprise applications

• Showcase development and integration using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and APIs to extend Power Platform solutions

• Leverage AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and Copilot to enhance automation and AI-driven interactions

• Are constantly demonstrating strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to debugging and problem-solving.

• Are comfortable in implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform deployments using Azure DevOps or Github Actions.

• Pride themselves providing technical mentorship to junior developers and support code reviews.

• Have a focus on automation and building efficient systems.

• Have ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing Power Platform applications.

Tech skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all, but our Staff Software Engineer should have diversified strengths and broad range of skillsets.

• In-depth experience in Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).

• Hands-on experience with Power Automate Desktop (RPA), UI automation, and legacy system integration.

• Full-stack development experience using C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.

• Strong experience with Dataverse, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.

• Hands-on experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, AI Builder, etc.) in a financial services organisation.

• Knowledge of Power Platform ALM, Git, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Experience in developing custom connectors, PCF controls, and API-based integrations.

• Understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and licensing models.

• Experience with unattended RPA, machine groups, and VDI automation in Power Automate Desktop.

• Microsoft PL-900, PL-200, PL-400, PL-500 (RPA), or PL-600 certifications will be preferred.
