Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a technical strategy-based problem solver to oversee the Device Certification team's product evaluation and certification process, ensuring Enterprise, Government requirements and 5G capabilities are maintained and included into the market launched devices. As a Sr. Device Certification Manager at Dish, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary Enterprise & Government projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan certification requirements for Enterprise/Government devices, manage risks, schedules, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate and track Enterprise & Government network requirements from the DISH 5G team, sharing the roadmap across the organization.
- Liaise between internal/external customers and DISH on government requirements (e.g., Passpoint, DISA certifications), communicating roadmaps.
- Create and maintain device compliance matrix documents.
- Drive Dish approvals for Enterprise wireless devices and manage issue resolution with OEMs during certification.
- Analyze new features, provide requirements to OEMs, and support device testing and issue tracking.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years prior engineering experience working on phones, modules, IoT devices or similar products that operate on cellular networks
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Enterprise & Government/DoD requirements and services
- Three or more years' experience in Enterprise and or Government device certifications with network-specific configurations (e.g. DNN/APN, eSIM), network feature testing (e.g. RF conformance and parametric testing, VoNR, RCS)
- Experience and understanding of wireless RATs and protocols such as IMS, 5G, LTE, 3G, VoLTE, WiFi Calling
- Experience working with vendors/partners
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
- Strong software program or project management experience
- Prior experience with 5G network product certification
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $100,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
