We are seeking a Staff Implementation Engineer to join our mission-driven team, playing a critical role in transforming utility operations by integrating cutting-edge technology into control room environments, specifically Energy Management Systems (EMS). What will you do?
Core Responsibilities and Key Performance Objectives
- Lead operational Dynamic Line Ratings (DLR) integrations from onboarding to full-scale implementation in control room environments, ensuring seamless delivery of ratings to support grid operations.
- Manage high-impact utility accounts, including the world's largest DLR deployment, designing integration architectures and business processes that optimize operational effectiveness.
- Develop repeatable playbooks for control room implementations, packaging them as Professional Service offerings to enhance scalability and consistency.
- Establish trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders within utility organizations, becoming a subject matter expert (SME) on best practices for operationalizing and utilizing DLR.
- Expand LineVision's market leadership, driving integrations with up to 10 utilities in the first year to enhance customer retention and establish a clear path to recurring revenue.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Solutions Engineering, Product, and IT Security to refine and improve integration processes.
Within the first 3 months:
- Gain a thorough understanding of LineVision's value proposition, technology, and customer challenges.
- Become proficient in our integration architecture and lead technical discussions with clients.
- Establish credibility and begin building relationships with key stakeholders.
Within the first 6 months:
- Be recognized as an SME within LineVision and by our customers.
- Actively lead multiple projects in various phases, from discovery and design to build and test.
Within the first year:
- Establish clear distinctions between product and integration work, developing standardized playbooks with detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and pricing structures.
- Demonstrate a track record of successful operational integrations with multiple utilities.

Essential Skills
- Deep understanding of utility control rooms and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Experience designing and building integrations with SCADA or EMS systems.
- Knowledge of utility cybersecurity regulations, including NERC CIP.
- Strong customer-facing skills, particularly when engaging with technical stakeholders.
- Ability to establish credibility quickly among control room operators, ISOs, and IT teams.

Reporting & Team Structure
- Reports to VP of Client Success within the Client Success organization and broader Go-To-Market (GTM) team.
- Works closely with Client Engagement Managers, Product, IT/Security, Software Engineering, and Solutions Engineering teams.
