IP Verification - AMS Verification Engineer
Provide verification support to design projects by simulating, analyzing, and debugging pre-silicon full chip designs. Develop Test cases/Stimulus to increase the functional coverage for analog blocks used in memory. Develop and maintain test benches and test vectors using simulation tools and improve coverage. Co-work with international colleagues on developing new verification flows to take on the challenges in HBM and emerging memory design. Participate in developing verification methodology and verification environments for advanced HBM and emerging memory products.
What’s Encouraged Daily:
Contribute to the development of new HBM products by assisting with verification of analog and mixed signal blocks.
- Full chip activities: ERC, analog test mode bits trim, power amps functionality, pin difference and high voltage or current in circuits related checks
- Power up checks: powerup sequence, voltage level, leakage current and forward bias condition check
- Reliability related items: Advanced FinFET (3nm, 5nm, 12nm) devices related stress and reliability check
- Analog IP specific items: Understand analog block functionality, propose stimulus, increase coverage, develop flows to improve verification (capture missed corners, failing boundaries etc.)
- Behavior modeling: Analog behavior model development to assist full chip verification
- Design guideline related checks
How To Qualify:
- Good understanding of analog/mixed signal circuits and full-chip activities
- Fundamental knowledge of advanced CMOS and FinFET technologies
- Experience in Analog and Mixed signal Verification, understand the usage of tools like Virtuoso, Finesim, Hspice, Xcellium, Simvision, Waveview.
- Hands on experience in writing Verilog Models. Verilog A/MS, RVM model writing is a plus.
- Hands on experience in building SPICE testbenches at Block, Full chip Level. Hand on experience in building the COSIM/ Mixed signal verification environment is a plus.
- Hands on experience in SV, UVM based Verification Hands on experience in SV/PSL assertions. Good scripting skills using Perl, Python is a plus.
- Previous work experience in memory related fields is a plus.
- Must possess good communication, debugging skills and ability to work well in a team.
