We are looking for a highly motivated customer technical program manager to join our fast-growing team. As a part of the team that is responsible for the customer software integration and prototype development, you will have the opportunity to:

1) Stay at the forefront with customers, understanding the pressing problems facing the industry and the most advanced technologies required to solve them.

2) Apply your skillsets to help build innovative solutions, creating immediate impact and helping our customers as well as shaping the industry with solutions you build.

3) Play the most important role in helping scale our products and grow Sonatus' business.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer requirements into specific tasks for the end-to-end solutions, define requirements scope, analyze interdependencies, and plan for schedule optimization with staffing constraints across multiple functional teams
  • Define program schedules, deliverables and milestones based on the customer program requirements and roadmap
  • Establish a clear Plan of Record commitment and drive the program execution.
  • Execute program by managing the progress of the defined program milestones, drive incremental deliverables, and device plans to mitigate risk in case of deviations
  • Identify program deviations, manage the dependencies and priority of issues, and organize and lead technical engineering discussions to drive cross functional team to resolution
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in cross functional teams and customers, set the prioritization of deliverables, and drive the project/program for on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with engineering, product management, and sales teams to resolve technical issues, set correct expectations and keep the scope of the projects on track to successful delivery
  • Regularly communicate the issue status to the customer and internal teams across different functional teams
  • Develop program metrics to measure program health status, and steer the program on the healthy trajectory
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to organize on-demand product/solution demonstrations to customers
  • Strong technical understanding of software deliverables, risk management and mitigation
  • Promote program vision and objectives within the team, present program vision to management, and achieve commitment from stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met or exceeded

Minimum Qualification and experiences:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Have 7 or more years experience managing technical projects or programs for client-server software solutions development in the automotive or related industries 
  • Experiences with Agile principles, practices for software development and program management.
  • A strong technical background and experience working with OEM customers
  • Experience in managing global projects/programs with multiple functionals teams within a matrix organization
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organization skills

Nice to Have Skills and Knowledge

  • Track record in managing complex hardware and software product development preferably in automotive industry
  • Prior experience in data communication, vehicle networking, or automotive technologies
  • PMP Certification and/or Agile Certification

The posted salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what Sonatus ("Company") could reasonably expect to pay for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.

Pay range for this role

$160,000$220,000 USD
