The Staff Accountant is responsible for multiple processes within accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and work within time constraints and deadlines.

How you’ll Contribute:
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Monitor and manage the invoices inbox, including responding to vendor inquiries and follow-ups
- Enter and review vendor invoices in NetSuite daily, ensuring alignment with contracts and approvals before processing payments
- Update AP payments from the bank daily
- Review and process expense reports in accordance with company policy
- Manage credit card transactions and review for proper coding
- Prepare the reimbursement report for semi-monthly payroll
- Review and approve ACH exceptions
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Monitor the AR inbox and respond to customer inquiries
- Review contracts to ensure accuracy with HubSpot submissions
- Assist in preparing invoices and month-end workbooks
- Manage the Aged Accounts Receivable process
- Invoice different revenue streams for direct customers and partners
- Prepare revenue schedules as part of month-end close
- Assist with collections efforts
- General Accounting & Compliance:
- Prepare sales tax returns
- Assist with quarterly reviews, annual audits, and special projects as assigned
- Assist with documentation of accounting policies, processes, and procedures
- Identify inconsistencies, errors, and provide recommendations to management
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and thorough, with the ability to prepare and review accounting documents for accuracy
- A proactive team player who is respectful, professional, and adaptable
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
