Who We're Looking For - Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant at Clearlink you will regularly perform cash reconciliations, help maintain and control the general ledger expense and balance sheet accounts, perform journal entries that include complex calculations, complete related account reconciliations, apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), add and maintain fixed assets within the GL system, and review financial statements.

The Impact You Will Make

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation and analysis on cash-related accounts and investigate and research any reconciling items
• Track daily cash flow
• Provide support for internal and external audits
• Perform month-end close process, including journal entries as assigned
• Add and maintain fixed and intangible assets, working with purchasing employees from throughout the business
• Perform and troubleshoot complex expense allocation calculations in Excel
• Assist in month-end closing and year-end audits
• Track and reconcile complex incentive taxation with minimal supervision
• Prepare department forecasts, budgets, and budget to actuals  
• Assist in other areas of accounting and special projects as needed

What You Bring

• Accounting Degree & 2-5 years relevant accounting experience
• Experience with complex reconciliations, fixed assets, and prepaids preferred
• Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of Excel (index/match, vlookup, pivot tables, If/And/Or etc.) and other MS office applications; experience using Oracle preferred
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Detailed knowledge of account reconciliation and general accounting procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Able to meet strict deadlines in a professional manner; working additional hours as needed
