This Opportunity
As an Application Experienced, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to all customers, both internally and externally. You will conduct and support application testing using various techniques to generate reliable data and consistently demonstrate the ability to perform test evaluations. You will lead independently projects or portions of projects using strong analytical skills and project management capabilities through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and communicate results through written and verbal reports.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and conduct technical studies and reports with only general direction from project leader.
- Cooperate with different colleagues and functions within all PPG divisions and external parties (i.e. Marketing, other areas of R&D, Suppliers/Customers).
- Ensure compliance with regional EU and national quality standards and safety norms
- Conducts evaluations of Collision, CT, LIC, and Allied prototypes in accordance with the needs and specifications of European customers.
- Provides on-site technical service to multiple accounts, observing unusual results and suggesting possible root causes.
- Communicates results, observations, and recommendations to various stakeholders, providing clear and concise technical documentation.
- Listens effectively and communicates clearly within the work team.
- Assists in identifying further improvements, or advises on potential enhancements to existing products, actively scouts for new technology introduction and adoption to increase productivity and satisfy market needs.
- Works independently or in collaboration with professional engineers, scientists, or project leaders to plan, construct, test, and document assignments, utilizing acquired skills in a specific field of engineering or science.
- Support internal benchmarks with TMS and Marketing Manager
Qualifications
- Good technical and spraying equipment skills
- Able to create technical reports summarizing inspection findings.
- Understands project requirements and maintains good documentation practices.
- Utilizes the scientific method, laboratory procedures, and data analysis techniques.
- Communicates effectively both orally and in writing within the work team.
- Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of Office and digital systems.
- Has intermediate English working proficiency knowledge.
- High School Diploma in chemistry or an equivalent field is preferred
